All devices and facilities for standard soil mechanical tests are available at the Institute. Special facilities like Triaxial Test Devices, large scale shear apparatus, e.g. for investigation of the frictional behaviour between geotextiles and soil, are also available.

In a testing hall space and facilities exist to carry out special large scale test, e.g. injection tests, earth pressure tests etc.
